Snoring Laser Treatment Snore Lase

Snoring Laser Treatment "Snoralase"

WHAT IS "SNORALASE"?

What is "Snoralase"?

The snoring laser treatment "Snoralase" is our clinic's proprietary medical laser treatment that improves snoring by irradiating the throat and palate with a laser, tightening the interior of the throat to reshape it and widen the airway.

Snoralase optimizes the irradiation frequency per second (Hz) and the laser's thermal energy (fluence) to the ideal settings for snoring treatment, then applies our unique technique to irradiate the affected areas such as the soft palate and uvula, delivering treatment with minimal pain.

FEATURES OF SNORALASE

Features of the Snoring Laser Treatment
"Snoralase"

Features of Snoralase
01

Minimal Pain

Rather than removing part of the throat with a scalpel or laser, this treatment method irradiates the mucous membrane to tighten it and widen the cross-sectional area of the airway, involving no direct surgical removal from the body.
Additionally, intravenous sedation is available free of charge upon request.

02

Short Treatment Time

The Snoralase irradiation time is approximately 15 minutes per session, making it easy to fit into even a busy schedule.
As hospitalization is not required, appointments are also easy to arrange.

03

Virtually No Downtime

Our clinic's Snoralase uses a dedicated laser designed to minimize the burden on the body. There is virtually no swelling or pain, and downtime is minimal.

04

Low Risk

Since Snoralase requires no surgical removal, it carries lower risks compared to conventional treatments, making it a procedure you can undergo with peace of mind.

05

Irradiation Settings Can Be
Adjusted Based on Condition

Snoralase treatment is tailored to the individual condition of each patient.
Custom irradiation settings are also available, so please feel free to leave it in our hands with confidence.

01The Difference Between Conventional Excision Treatment and Snoralase

Conventional excision treatment involved removing excess tissue inside the oral cavity using a scalpel or laser to widen the airway and improve snoring. While it has the advantage of long-lasting results that are unlikely to regress, it is accompanied by intense pain both during and after the procedure.

02The Difference Between Conventional Laser Treatment and Snoralase

Conventional laser treatment, like Snoralase, irradiates the pharynx with a laser to tighten it and widen the airway. However, unlike Snoralase, it only irradiates the superficial layers of the throat, resulting in a comparatively weaker effect.

Treatment Details

By warming the throat first, then irradiating the deeper layers with a laser, the pharynx is tightened with minimal pain, widening the airway.

A laser is applied to the soft palate and uvula tissue to tighten the pharynx and widen the airway.

Excess tissue at the back of the throat is removed using a laser to widen the airway.

Effectiveness

As it tightens the tissue deep within the throat, results comparable to surgical excision can be expected.

As only the superficial layers of the throat are treated, the effect is weaker compared to Snoralase.

Since the throat tissue is surgically removed, there is no regression, and long-lasting results can be expected.

Advantages

Snoring can be improved with minimal pain and virtually no downtime.

Compared to surgical treatment, there is less pain and a shorter downtime.

While there is no guarantee that snoring will be completely cured, the procedure is generally completed in a single session.

Pain

With our original irradiation settings that minimize heat, patients feel little to no pain — only a mild warmth.

Some pain may be felt during the procedure. Additionally, swelling, pain, and throat discomfort may persist for approximately 3 days afterward.

Intense pain is felt during the procedure. Additionally, throat pain and discomfort may persist for approximately 2 weeks following the procedure.

Disadvantages

Rarely, a stinging sensation may be felt during the procedure.

Swelling may occur on the surface of the treated area.

A side effect where food enters the nasal cavity may occur.
